How Is The Garden Growing?

It’s Not Gadda Da Vida, Honey

Update: The plants are monsters!

Okay, there’s a real good chance you have no idea what that means.  It’s okay.  No one really does.

I’m starting my garden and have some big ideas.  It is a vegetable garden, with some fruits-tomatoes-in there for fun.  We’ve inherited raspberries and blackberries which I’m working at making fuller and more plentiful both in plant and berry.

I’m starting some of these, beans and Brussels Sprouts, in a garden system called EarthBox, which looks like this.

Visit the EarthBox Amazon page to see which system is right for you.

One day at a time

So far, my EarthBox boxes have been unpacked.  That’s a start.  I’ll get the dirt and stuff in by the weekend.

The big day

Finally the stars have aligned so the kids and I can get the Earthboxes filled and make happy plants happier.  And, Eleanor is a goof.

Salad where you don’t expect

Before you break out those weed chemicals, give a listen to expert forager, and chemist Mark, “Merriwether” talk about foraging for salad as close as your front yard. And, whatever you do, don’t kill the dandelions.
