Oregon seeks to revive temperance with a tax on beer, cider, and wine

With all the foolishness that comes from being elected a representative for a state, two such representatives have proposed a massive tax in Oregon on beer, cider, and wine.

The history is plain but old. Prohibition and the ideas behind it are just memories, perhaps, and seem to serve no reminder of how governments fail more than they succeed.
