Academia

Research: a stack of books

The academia library is, well, the place to find all books which aren’t cookbooks. Some of them will be philosophical and economic and political. Some are just good reads that I enjoyed and want to share that with you.

There are many places to start to read about Austrian School economics.  None seems better than Murray Rothbard.  I am certain there will be discussion about which is best, but I picked this for I enjoy a good reader as a primer.

Brion McClanahan has written several books on American History, including the Politically Incorrect Guide to the Founding Fathers.  This book was one he mentioned as a way to learn some deep parts which simply don’t get discussed.  I also recommend his podcast, “The Brion McClanahan Show.”

David Stockman has a long and impressive career in politics.  It has been suggested that the omission of his, shall I say, Magnus Opus, must be remedied.  So, here it is.  My copy came today in the mail.

PIGS

No, not those; that’s another page.  Politically Incorrect Guides.  I’ve a few right over there to my right and there are more which will be added to that pile.  Here’s a list, excluding the PIG mentioned above.

It’s a pretty large series, but those are some of the heavy hitters as I see it.
